St Andrew’s Celebration Music and Quiz Night - Saturday 25 November 
Tickets £5 include “tea and buns” - now on sale. Please come along to share an evening with some of the parish’s talented musicians as we celebrate the feast of our patron, St Andrew. There will also be a chance to show off your knowledge of all things Scottish in a quiz with rounds on music, sport, geography, history and famous Scots. This is a BYOB event.
Pop up Choir : rehearsals - 5, 12 and 19 November from 3 - 4.30 with tea and buns provided. (If anyone can't make all three practices, the last one is the most important.) Gospel Reflection Session - Monday 6th Nov, after the 10am Mass in the Lower Hall. The session will reflect on the Gospel Reading for the upcoming Sunday.If you can, please join us for tea/coffee and a reflective and enjoyable discussion.
Mass for our beloved dead takes place next Sunday 12th November at 12noon. The families of those who have lost a loved one over the past year have been invited but, of course, everyone is welcome who wishes to pray for those whom they have lost. Refreshments will be served in the hall after Mass.

Volunteers wanted!!! The White Lily Charity, founded by one of our very own parishioners, Mrs Angela Bruno, MBE, and which raises funds for research into, and equipment for, all types of cancer, in the west of Scotland, has been allocated a ‘ bag packing’ slot at Asda, Bearsden on Saturday 25th November from 10am-4pm. We are looking for volunteers to help us by working a 2 hour shift either :- 10-12, 12-2 or 2-4pm, so not terribly onerous.All family members welcome, old and young! As part of the Parish’s pledge to be awarded the status of Dementia Friendly Parish we are holding a Dementia Friends Session provided by representatives from Alzheimer Scotland. This session will provide information and awareness of Dementia and is recommended for those who undertake voluntary work within the Parish visiting the sick and the elderly i.e. Eucharistic Ministers, Legion of Mary, anyone caring for family/friends with Dementia and anyone who has an interest in improving their awareness of Dementia.
