NET Ministry will be returning to our parish on Sunday 27thJanuary. NET are ten young Americans who are doing great youth ministry work in many schools and parishes. The team will lead a Faith/Fun Day for the young people of St Andrew's and St Joseph's beginning with 10am Mass in St Andrew's through to 2pm.All most welcome. will be provided.
An Appeal for Accommodation - Our parish is looking to host 10 members of the Legion of Mary who will be undertaking Peregrinatio Pro Christo "Pilgrimage for Christ" PPC from August 24th– 31st2019. The Legionaries will endeavour to visit as many of the homes in Bearsden as they possibly can, speaking to people about the faith. We are making an appeal in our parish for host homes. Could you accommodate one legionary for seven nights bed and breakfast? Each legionary pays towards their accommodation. Members of our parish's Legion of Marywill be at all Masses on the 19th/20th January for anyone who wants to have a chat and find out more information about being a host home or about the PPC in general.
A huge thank youto those who generously give of their time serving in the piety stall, and to the parishioners who support the stall with their purchase. The fantastic amount of £900 profit was raised during 2018, which is a great boost to parish funds.

Day of Prayer for Justice and Peace– this Sunday. Copies of Bishop Nolan’s letter can be found on the Justice & Peace Scotland website. This takes up the theme of “political engagement” which is inspired by Pope Francis’ own letter for the Day of Peace. His letter can be found on the Vatican website. The second collection this weekend will be taken up to support the work of Justice and Peace. The P4-P7 Children’s Liturgy are looking for some young helpers.
