Plate offerings. With the most recent easing of restrictions, the practice of passing round the basket to collect offerings will resume weekend 26 / 27 March.
Now that Lent has begun, the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays has been restored. We should see this as an opportunity to come together again as a community of faith to listen to the Word of God and be nourished by the body of Christ. As always, the obligation does not apply to those who are sick and their carers or to those aware of their greater vulnerability to the virus. Come back to Mass! It would be good to have more and more people coming back to Mass. The children’s Liturgy has resumed at 10am Mass.

UN Report: Act Now to Stop Climate Chaos - The key message of the report by the Independent Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is stark, stressing the need to take urgent action right now to avoid continuing permanent damage to ecosystems, species extinction and human wellbeing. If you feel moved to do something you can perhaps read the report for yourself and express your concern about this to our MP Amy Callaghan and/or to MSPs Rona Mackay, Pam Gosal and Ross Greer.
