My Light in your Eyes videos (on this link) produced by St Andrew’s parishioners is a dialogue between Christ and us. Both as individuals and as a community he invites us to the Sacrament of Reconciliation. He wraps us in forgiveness and restores us to our rightful place in the community...just in time to celebrate Easter.
Reconciliation Service There will be a cluster Lenten reconciliation service on Thursday 11th April at 7pm in St Joseph’s. This is an opportunity for us to become reconciled with the Lord and with each other. Priests from the parishes in the cluster will be available for individual confession. Please join us as we prepare for Holy Week.
Sign Up Sunday. St Andrew’s parish needs you. Our parish needs more volunteers for existing ventures, groups and particular ministries. We are looking for more people to get involved in the various areas of the parish’s life and mission. Please think about signing up for involvement in an area of parish life. SAS (St Andrew's Squad)is also looking for more helpers. SAS meets for a fun and informative session with the children preparing to make their Sacraments. These sessions last for an hour and there are only 3 of these each year, so it’s definitely NOT ahuge commitment.If you would like to assist, then please think about signing up to help on Sign Up Sunday. Music - The music ministry in St Andrew’s is an important part of the Liturgy. We always like to try and ensure that all the weekend Masses are covered musically. Some, at present, unfortunately, are not. If you would like to get involved and join the parish’s music ministry as an organist, pianist or instrumentalist please contact Sally Mulholland [email protected] doesn’t need to be a permanent or regular commitment throughout the whole year. You might be a student and when home on holiday can help out for a couple of months. If you can help, please do get in touch. Thankfully, at present, we have a sufficient number of cantors.
First Holy Communion Masses – Volunteer first communicants required to read at each Mass - bidding prayers (6), the welcome (1), help with the offertory (6), and the thank you (1). One Mass ministry per child. Please email [email protected] All roles allocated on a first come first served basis.
Stations of the Crossevery Friday at 7pm during the Season of Lent.
The church will be closed on Monday 8th April after 10am Mass for carpet shampoo cleaning of the main church, sanctuary, porch and Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

Easter Vigil – 8.30pm on Saturday 20thApril begins with the blessing of the Easter fire in the grounds behind the hall. Hymn Book Amnesty –If you’ve maybe borrowed a hymn book for baptism, wedding or funeral arrangements, could you please hand it back soon. The number of hymn books has dwindled by over 150, and we’re hoping to get back up to having a sufficient number again for our liturgies.
