Parish 50th Anniversary Celebrations - To help us celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of our Parish, we’d like to gather photos of parish life over the past 50 years for possible inclusion in a 50th Jubilee calendar. If you have photographs of any aspect of our liturgical, pastoral or social life as a Parish such as celebration of the Sacraments, Parish Pilgrimages or social occasions, please share. This includes any personal celebrations of sacraments such as First Communion, weddings etc. You can do this in one of two ways. Either hand in photographs to the parish house or sacristy or send by e-mail to by 29th August. If you’d like any photographs returned, please just put these in an envelope with your name and address and we will have photographs copied and returned to you.
Evening Pilgrimage to Carfin for St Joseph’s and St Andrew’s – Saturday 13th August. Bus will leave at 6.30pm at the Post Office in Milngavie and return at 9.30pm. All are very welcome.
The Legion of Mary meets Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the Hut. New members always welcome.

Alzheimer Scotland Memory Walk - Saturday 27 August 2016 at Mugdock Reservoir ( Water Treatment Works ) from 10.30am. To help fundraise and raise awareness of Dementia/Alzheimers. World Youth Day – as well as having followed their blog, we look forward to hearing soon all about the experience of our young parishioners who attended WYD Krakow.
Like to train to become a Parish catechist? There are still places available on the course. To apply for this two-year part-time course, sponsored by the parish, speak to Fr Mackle. ST A. and IMAC SPRED Fundraising Disco - Prizes Appeal. CAN YOU HELP PLEASE! Following last year’s successful fundraiser event at IMAC it is our Parish’s turn to host the 2016 Disco on Saturday 3rd September ( 7.30 -1130pm). Tickets for the event inc supper cost only £10 and will be on sale early August.
Presently we are looking for suitable prize donations which can be used towards a raffle and other fund raisers on the night. Donations to be handed into the sacristy or chapel house or contact Brian Donnelly on 942-6085 or mobile 07484 707750 Many thanks in advance. Brian .
Day Trip to Carfin for the National Pilgrimage Mass and Rosary Procession. Sunday, September 4th. Bus will leave from Roman Road at 1.00 pm and return 7.30pm. Cost £3. Please sign sheet in porch, if you would like to go.
