As part of the parish’s Golden Anniversary celebrations, in conjunction with St Andrew’s Primary School PTA, a Burns Supper followed by a ceilidh has been organised for Saturday 28th January from 7pm until 11pm in the Upper Hall. This event is open to everyone - the St Roch’s Ceilidh band are booked so it promises to be a great night ! Tickets are on sale after each mass in the Piety Stall and are priced at £10 per adult and £5 per child, which includes a two course meal (BYOB).
This is a new venture for the parish and the PTA and we would be most grateful of some volunteers who are familiar with these types of events to help us. Would you be able to assist us with any of the following roles:
Host / MC for the evening
Address to a haggis
Immortal memory / Toast to the lassies
Reply to the toast to the lassies
Recital of some Burns poetry
Please contact Anne on 07866 009078 if you are able to help, thank you.
