Foodbank - Stella and Tom Reid are to finish up looking after the weekly delivery of donated food items to the foodbank after many years of faithful service. Our very sincere thanks to Stella and Tom for all their efforts, week in and week out, delivering to Maryhill and Drumchapel foodbanks. The generosity of their time has been very much appreciated. We are therefore looking for volunteers to continue Stella and Tom's work of delivering to the Drumchapel foodbank every Monday. If you are able to help, please speak to Fr Mackle.

Celebrate the feast of St Julie Billiart with the Notre Dame Community in Scotland at the Immaculate Conception Church on Friday 12th May with Mass at 7.00 pm followed by refreshments. All most welcome.
Parish Mission Youth Mass Saturday 3rd June 6pm – We are looking for young people of the parish to be involved in various Mass ministries e.g. as a pass keeper, server, extraordinary minister, bidding prayers, offertory or with the music. Give your names to Fr. Mackle, if you would like to be involved. Primary 7 will be arranging readers for the Mass, which will be followed by pizza in the upper hall.
St Andrew’s Primary PTA is hosting a Ladies Charity Night in the school hall on Friday 2nd June 7pm – 11.30pm. This year the profits will be split evenly between school funds and Richmond’s Hope, which provides support to bereaved children. Tickets are £7 and include a cocktail on arrival (BYOB). Sacrament of Confirmation next year will be celebrated for P7 pupils of St Andrew’s and St Joseph’s Parishes in St Joseph’s Church on the evening of 6th February 2018. Enrolment forms available in the porch to be returned please by 28th June. Sacrament of Confirmation – Training for Catechists – 5th Sept. Catechists and those involved in catechesis in the parish, who would be keen to be involved in the Confirmation Programme and attend training, please speak to Fr Mackle
The Halls Committee is looking for new members. The halls are a valuable asset for the church and have raised over £15,000 per year for the last few years for church funds through commercial lets and private functions. Halls Committee is responsible for managing these lets together with the maintenance of the decoration of the halls, keeping consumables topped up and assisting at some Parish functions. The committee meets, on average, 4 times a year. The committee is looking for new members to help with the running of this important aspect of parish life. If you are interested in joining the committee, or want to find out a bit more about what they do, please contact Father Mackle on 0141 942 4635.
The Halls Committee is exploring the installation of a ceiling mounted, electrically operated projection screen to help facilitate presentations in the Upper Hall. We would like to know if there are any parishioners who would be interested in supplying and installing this screen at a market rate.
