The Healing Power of the Sacrament of Reconciliation: Thursday 9th November 7:00 – 8:30pm in the Upper Hall. Following the success of the talk on Reconciliation in March of this year and at the request of parishioners a second session on the sacrament of Reconciliation is planned. Sacrament of Confirmation for P7 pupils of St Andrew’s and St Joseph’s Parishes will be celebrated in St Joseph’s 7pm on 6th February 2018. There will be a preparation meeting on Tuesday, 16th January 2018 at 7pm in St Joseph's for parents and sponsors. On the same evening and at the same time, catechists of the two parishes will gather with the P7s to lead them in preparing for Confirmation.
Our Parish Library has a very extensive range of books and DVDs covering a wide variety of religious topics. We would like to encourage you to have a look at the books and DVDs.
The Legion of Mary - new members always welcome. Meets on Mondays at 4pm in the Hut. The Legion, over the course of the next few months, will be visiting this year’s First Holy Communion families. Divine Mercy Novena is prayed weekdays after morning Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. All most welcome.

Iona 2017 retreat - There is a copy of a photo collage from our parish pilgrimage to Iona for all who came on retreat.
Altar Servers.Any young member of the Parish who would like to become an Altar Server is invited to contact Chris Sanders (942 7519) or Fr. Mackle or Mgr Ryan, who will gladly take your details.This invitation is aimed particularly at those children in last year’s P IV who made their First Holy Communion last May.Training sessions are planned to start as soon after the mid-October half-term as practicable.

Art for Life – affordable arts and crafts on sale in aid of ‘The Suzy Fund’in St Joseph’s, Milngavie, Sat 28th Oct 10.00-4.00 & Sun 29thOct after all Masses. The Suzy Fund has been feeding children in Ethiopia since the famine of 1975 providing life-saving meals to those who would otherwise have none. On sale will be an eclectic exhibition of art work and driftwood items as well as cards, jewelry and assorted other crafts - an ideal opportunity for original gifts to start your Christmas shopping! Please come along and support this worthwhile cause.
