Congratulations and welcome to Gemma and Millie. At the Easter Vigil, our parish community welcomed them into our faith by celebrating their initiation as full members of the Catholic Church. Please keep them in your prayers. They will continue to journey over the next few weeks through RCIA in the Easter period known as Mystagogia (entering into the Mystery), and we’re looking forward to an RCIA Fish Supper Night soon.

Laudato Si’ - On Care for our Common Home - Furthermore, when media and the digital world become omnipresent, their influence can stop people from learning how to live wisely, to think deeply and to love generously. In this context, the great sages of the past run the risk of going unheard amid the noise and distractions of an information overload. Efforts need to be made to help these media become sources of new cultural progress for humanity and not a threat to our deepest riches. (#47)
Really grateful for the donations of jars and egg cartons. The foodbanks thankfully now have enough and no more needed, please, until the next appeal. Many thanks

After a special plea by one of our parishioners, whose teenage cousin has had wonderful support whilst currently going through treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma, this month we are raising funds for The Paul O’Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre in Glasgow. One of our parishioners, Dr Karen Keeshan, works there and the centre relies greatly on donations to fund its research, so please come along and help support this very worthwhile research. Karen will be there on the day to answer any questions you may have about the Centre.
Many thanks also to those who helped and came along to the March coffee morning.
The sum of £118.50 was raised for SCIAF’s Syrian Earthquake Appeal.
