Pope Francis Faith Award update St Andrew's & St Joseph's are working with St Nicholas' to try and resume the PFFA and support it remotely. Class teachers are now delivering PFFA to the current P7s. The school has taken the decision to forego enrolling this year's P6s for the award, which is understandable at this time. News soon of an Advent Calendar activity for all P7s
A message to the young people of St Andrew's & St Joseph's ~ We have not been able to have our usual cluster gatherings in recent months but, as we approach Advent and Christmas, we want to create an opportunity for young people to come together. There is a limit to what we can offer but we plan to have an Advent service in St Andrew's on Thursday 10th December. This will be prayerful, gentle and very, very cheerful with happy readings and bright music - even if we are not allowed to sing! The service will begin at 7pm and will only last for about half an hour. This should be a great way to remember what Christmas is really all about! Because of the restrictions we are all now familiar with, we need young people of both parishes who want to come along to sign up for an allocated place. If you are in P6-S6 – and with a parent’s permission – please let the Youth Ministry Team know you would like to be included on [email protected] by Thursday 24 November. Hope you can make it! The Youth Ministry Team
