Assisted Parishes—Special second collections on Saturday/Sunday 18th/19th June.

New Mass Texts—For  Liturgy Groups, Catechists and all interested.  Below are listed the various venues.  To assist with arrangements please enter your name on the appropriate sheet on the notice board at the entrance to the church.  The meetings are intended to assist with information and preparation.
Our Lady of Consolation—Govanhill on Monday 20th June at 7.30 p.m.
Holy Family—St. Ninians Kirkintilloch on Wednesday 22nd June at 7.30 p.m.

Communications Sunday—Pope Benedict's recent Communications Sunday message urged Catholics to embrace the digital age and the realm of social networking while being ever aware of its risks. He wrote: “I would like to invite Christians, confidently and with an informed and responsible creativity, to join the network of relationships which the digital era has made possible.  This is not simply to satisfy the desire to be present, but because this network is an integral part of human life.”  If you use Facebook and/or Twitter please consider following the daily feeds from the Archdiocese—they include updates on special events, reminders about Holydays of Obligation, news items both local and from the Vatican and photos and videos of events.

Remembrance Mass—Holy Mass will be celebrated in St Agnes’ Church, Lambhill, on Sunday 26th June at 3pm for the faithful departed whose final committal took place in St Kentigern’s Cemetery, the Western Necropolis Cemetery, Lambhill Cemetery or at Glasgow Crematorium.  Tea/Coffee will be provided afterwards in St Agnes’ Church Hall.  (No 54 bus from Hope Street, Glasgow).

Glasgow The Welcoming City—Glasgow City Council—Glasgow Churches Together invite you to celebrate THE WORD at the heart of the City at Glasgow City Chambers on Sunday 19th June at 3pm.

The Scotland Ghanaian Catholic Community—Cordially invites each and every Ghanaian Catholic living in Scotland to the second celebration of the Eucharist on Sunday 19th June at the Holy Cross Parish, 113 Dixon Ave, Govanhill, Glasgow G42 8ER at 2pm.

Mass in Old Aisle Cemetery—Kirkintilloch, Saturday 25th June at 2pm. 

Teas and Coffee—After 10am mass on Sunday 19th June in the upper hall.  Please come and join us, all money raised will to to the Marie Curie Charity.
