Even as we are still trying to come to terms with yesterday’s news of the untimely death of Archbishop Tartaglia, we have begun the process of ensuring the Archdiocese continues to function until the Holy Father appoints a new Archbishop.
The College of Consultors has met several times and today has elected Mgr Hugh Bradley as Diocesan Administrator. Monsignor Hugh has informed the Apostolic Nuncio of his election and the Nuncio has acknowledged this decision and wishes Hugh well in this difficult task.
