As I am sure you are aware, the First Minister has announced today that we are to go in to a lockdown from midnight tonight/Tuesday, 5th January until at least the end of this month.
This means that St Andrew's Parish Church will have to close again from after 10am Mass this Friday, 8th January until further notice.
During this time, churches must be closed to all public Masses and private prayer, except funerals and weddings.
Mass will be celebrated each Sunday which will be live streamed at 10am.
Mass will also be live streamed Monday to Friday at 10am.
Please visit St Andrew's YouTube Channel and subscribe.
Confessions will be heard outdoors on Saturdays at the front door of the chapel house 4.15pm to 4.45pm.
While we are in this second lockdown, and with all the uncertainty that is around, let us keep each other in prayer.
Let's pray that these lockdown restrictions and the vaccines will be effective in bringing about the desired result in reducing the present levels of infection and transmission throughout our country.
When you're out for your lockdown stroll, feel free to call at the outdoor cribs for a wee prayer. They'll remain up until Candlemas on 2nd February
Stay in. Stay safe. Pray safe.
