Flourish April 2020 Download |
It became clear over a week ago that the current crisis would mean that we could not produce Flourish in paper form this month.
Rather than admit defeat, we have been working hard to produce the paper in a digital format with its own website.
This is now complete and the paper is available at
www.flourishnewspaper.co.uk
Ironically the new edition had been planned as a relaunch edition. So it has a fresh look and design, new features and a new regular column from respected Vaticanologist John L Allen. I have also run a spread on the Focolare Movement in Glasgow; a new spirituality page using sacred art and poetry to inspire prayer; and a refreshed scripture section from Canon Bob Hill to help people pray the Triduum.
There are also the usual parish tales of good people doing good things, and a special feature on the upcoming anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath 1320-2020.
Perhaps never more than now has a newspaper, telling the story of what’s happening across the Archdiocese and across the world been more necessary.
Thanks for all your support over the years.
The May edition is also likely to be digital.
Stay well.
Kind regards
