Message from Father Mackle Sunday 22nd March

Very, very strange times these are for all of us in many ways. Very strange this first Sunday with no public Mass. The church today will obviously be much be quieter than usual, but it is open.
It's open until 7pm. Keep in mind, it's open every day.

If you’ve not seen it yet on our Facebook, Twitter & website, there’s a sheet you can use at home today (on this link) when Mass isn’t being celebrated publicly. Printed copies available in the porch.

You’re invited today, wherever you'll be and whatever you'll be doing , to pray at 12 noon ~ maybe a decade of the rosary. Let us unite in prayer and call on Mary, who is our spiritual mother, to pray to Jesus for us in this time of need.

We pray, too, today for all our mothers, living and dead, asking God’s blessing on them on this Mothers’ Day. And tonight, if it’s safe to do so, join with others UK wide, and light a candle in your front window. Candles available from the church porch for free, if you need one.
“He will give light to those in darkness”

Monsignor and I are offering Mass separately each day on our own and remembering you all in our prayers. I hope that you and all those around you keep well.
