Hello Everyone, it has been a while!!!!
Hope you are all well and the children have enjoyed being back at school. Great to see the kids out having fun in the playground when you are passing by!!
The Parent Association, like everyone, has missed the usual activities and events that we organise for the children and at this moment in time, we are unsure we will be able to organise any events this school year. We are very pleased though that we have been able to give the children a Halloween and Christmas Treat!!
Whilst this past school year the Parent Association has been unable to organise events and activities in the school, I am very proud of what we have organised in previous years and also the funds we have raised. This has been due to the great team we have and also the constant support from the families in the school.
I will be stepping down as chair of the Parent Association in June and if anyone would be interested in taking over this position in August or even finding out a bit more about what is involved, please contact me, Siobhan on 07850 212 951.
If the situation occurs where we do not get someone to take over this position, the Parent Association will fold and remaining funds will be transferred to the school. The school may organise things such as Christmas Cards but events like Discos and Ladies Night will not happen. This would be a shame as the children really enjoy the discos and these events can raise a good amount of money!!
