Hope all’s well.
Great seeing so many May Altars and pictures of Our Lady being posted. We will be doing something similar for Pentecost, which is a week on Sunday. Posts up on St Nicholas’ Facebook & Twitter. So, thinking caps on. We’ll put details up on ours soon.
May, as we know, has always been a special month for us to show our devotion to Our Lady.
When we pray a Hail Mary, we are joining our prayers with Mary’s prayers. She is Queen of heaven, she is exalted above all the angels and saints and prays for us to God.
Saint John Paul II said that his favourite prayer was the rosary. He often said just how marvellous a prayer it is in its simplicity and depth.
The rosary is a wonderful and a powerful tool to grow closer to God.
It’s good to pray the rosary on a frequent basis.
Here’s another lockdown snake queue funny. One of those couldn’t help but hear conversations when you’re standing for 20 minutes in the shade with a chilly east wind blowing ~
‘See if this virus carry on goes up to Christmas it will not bother me a bit because I’ll not need to make the Christmas dinner because I’m telling you truthfully no matter what I make for them, they’re never pleased’.
Hear’s hoping tomorrow's forecast will be right and get back to some nice dry weather again. We’ll get posted the old time favourite for this month, ‘The sun is shining brightly’ by the Doogan family.
Hope you have a lovely day
Take care
