Today is Spy Wednesday - it gets its name as this was the day when Judas betrayed Jesus.
One of the things that is very clear from the scriptures ( if you get a chance - it’s worth getting a read through, in your missal or on Universalis, the short gospel reading for today’s Mass ) - one of the things that Jesus didn’t make any secret of was that he was aware that one of the twelve would betray him. Jesus knew that. He was aware of that, and really what Judas was being offered was an opportunity to repent. Judas was being offered that opportunity, but he was unresponsive.
One of the lessons in the Judas story is this - whenever people allow themselves to be dominated by worldly values they can too often become insensitive to the promptings of grace, to the promptings of God.
All the best for the remainder of Holy Week.
I hope that, even within all these restrictions, and whatever you are able to do at home, on your own or as a family, that the Triduum will be prayerful and fruitful.
Take care
